The PIF file type is primarily associated with Windows. A Program Information File dates back to the early versions of Windows. So dont delete this. How ever the most surprising thing here is the size of the file, which is way to much. Can you put the same query on size on windows forum on http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/category/windowsserver/Now you need to look at other side where you are running out of disk space on exchange. Do you have any other drive or some slots free on server to put in some drive? ANy thing else that you can delete from the server in order to gain some space? How big is the log file directory?Raj

Sendy,Never recommended to move to a USB drive. You need to think on getting some extra drives on the server. When you say external drive, are you takig about SAN or a USB drive. SAN is fine and you will not have any issues but never a USb drive. Raj
